Effective coaching
works to develop the full potential of
employees. In this workshop participants study the essential
elements of being an excellent coach. They learn a variety of
different coaching techniques and the situations that are the
most appropriate for each style. The course includes several assessment
instruments and the development of individual action plans with specific
goals.
Major Objectives
In this workshop participants will:
- Examine several different coaching models
- Understand the relationship of the coach with the employee
- Coach employees to enhance performance in role-plays
Instructional Method
This is an interactive course which applies a variety of instructional
methods to engage the participants. These include lectures,
self-assessments, group discussion, video tapes, role-plays,
group exercises, and the integration of real issues from the
participants work environments.
