Dr. Dennis Ghyst has over
30 years of corporate, independent, and academic experience.
His strengths include leadership learning / development, and
business coaching. With a growing focus on management assessment,
OD analysis, and intercultural workshop facilitation, he is
EQ-i/360 certified in emotional intelligence and other assessment
tool applications. He is also a certified associate of Resource
Associates Corporation, a world leader in learning, development
and coaching.
Dennis is a founding member of two Atlanta-based consulting
companies: Innovative Management Solutions, Inc., and the
Atlanta Consulting and Training Alliance. He has facilitated
a wide range of seminars for high-profile private, non-profit
and government sector clients. For over 25 years, he has
facilitated communications / interpersonal skills and personal
resilience / stress management workshops.
He has designed a wide range of corporate training and university
curricula. .With over 15 years of experience as university
professor / instructor with four major universities, he has
facilitated business and applied behavioral science courses at
the graduate and undergraduate levels.
Dennis received his Ph.D. in sociology (dissertation: "Mental
Health and Work-Related Stress"), from the University of
Florida, his M.A. in Political Science-International Relations
from the University of California at Los Angeles, and his
undergraduate degree in International Relations from the
University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
Dennis enjoys hiking, movies and keeping abreast of the latest
trends in preventative health care, positive psychology, personal
resilience/stress management, and multicultural business applications.
